Ironically, labour, cleaning supplies and transport are a constant fixture on the budget for carpet cleaners, sometime people with a smaller house may pay more compared a larger home.

By the complexity of the job

Truth be told, some stains are hard to remove while some carpets have not been cleaned in a while. Such scenarios cannot be compared to carpets that are cleaned regularly. The rates will then have to be determined by what the cleaner sees in your house upon arrival.

Something else to be considered is the type of cleaning you choose. Steam cleaning and dry cleaning are available and both have different prices and different outcomes. What you choose between these will depend on the intensity of cleaning that you want done.

Steam cleaning is more suited for deep cleansing while dry cleaning will not reach as far as steam cleaning will go. Both methods work well though. Make sure you understand the different methods, including pros and cons, before you settle for one.
