Dry Cleaning Commercial Carpets
When it comes to your office everything communicates to your clients. Your carpet also speaks. If it is well maintained and clean then it will give a great impression. Every carpet, whether at home, at a shop or in the office will need to have the grime and dirt that has built up with time removed so that it can go back to smelling fresh and looking clean. When it is an office carpet, it is better to ensure that it does not get too wet when cleaning as you will probably not be able to close the office for a day while it dries.
Dry cleaning commercial carpets will have your office looking spic and span safely and effectively. In addition, it will remove the stains and dirt from your carpeting while using very little water. This is an excellent solution for office carpeting as well as carpets in a building lobby because it dries fast.
It is important to note that this method will not deep clean the carpet like steam cleaning does. However, the dry cleaning chemicals used do a great job of encapsulating the soil that is in the carpet so that it comes to the surface and is removed by powerful vacuuming. The encapsulation is carried out by enzymes in the chemicals. Here are some methods that are used when it comes to dry cleaning the carpeting.
- Foam – Some dry foam applied onto the carpet and then it is agitated so that it goes into the fibers of your carpet. The foam then encapsulates all the dirt and soil in the carpeting so that it crystallizes. Once that is done it comes to the surface and is vacuumed away. An office hallway carpet would benefit from this quick dry method of cleaning.
- Dry Compound – Another method is using some wet sawdust which is basically spread around on the carpet. Using a round brush, this wet sawdust is agitated so that it gets into the carpet. Again the soil and dirt attaches itself to the compound and comes to the surface. When it dries it is vacuumed up along with the dirt.
- Bonnet Cleaning – Spray a light mist of the solution onto the carpet. It is allowed to sit for a little while as the dirt comes to the surface. The cotton ‘bonnet’ that rotates at the bottom of the machine picks up all the dirt.
It is important that you contact the cleaning company about giving you a full appraisal and quote on the best dry cleaning method for your commercial premises.
